Brisbane Boys College (BBC) has unveiled its masterplan to transform the school over the next 26 years until 2050.
The masterplan for the school, which is located at Kensington Terrace in Toowong, includes more than 40 new projects including new buildings, new tennis courts, a museum, rowing sheds, a boarding house courtyard, staff hubs, sports complex and library expansions.
Some projects have already started including a rooftop terrace, prototype classrooms, a reshaping of the middle school precinct and refurbishments of the boarding house dining hall, boarding house and tennis courts.
Major future projects include a refurbishment would include Goldicott Hill Learning and Function Centre, an expansion of the Barbara Helen Thomson Sports Complex and the High-Performance Sports and Aquatics Centre, as well as a library expansion and upgrade.
The plan has had undergone consultation with old boys, current students, staff and parents.
