Plans have been lodged for a $380 million Rochedale masterplan that would deliver green space, retail space, a boutique hotel and tavern alongside housing in the area south of Brisbane.
The development to be called Rochdale Terrace, would become the ‘town centre heart’ of the major growth area of Rochedale, situated around 20 kilometres south of the Brisbane CBD.
Its centerpiece will be a 6000sq m park bounded by a retail pavilion, a 7-storey, 75 room boutique hotel, a tavern and around 280 apartments.
It will occupy a 4ha corner site at 46 West Street and 400 Miles Platting Road.
The development will be delivered in three stages over the next decade, and if approved, work could start in mid-2025.
