The Alfred & Lucina Best park in The Gap will undergo work to improve its facilities.
The park at 89 Payne Rd will see the addition of a state-of-the-art multi-use games area to replace the existing old netball court and basketball half court and a learn-to-ride track, while its existing BMX track will be improved.
Two modern aluminium shelters will also be installed, as well as new concrete pathways to connect every part of the park.
The project is set to start on July 26, with the park to be closed until the end of August.
The improvements will transform the park and provide a better recreational offering for users, drawing in more people and benefitting the community.
