A two-storey childcare centre has been proposed for 95 Nudgee Road at Hamilton, on the site of the current Airport Admiralty motel.
Catering for 104 children, the centre will have four outdoor play areas, seven activity rooms and 21 car parks, with 834sq m of gross floor area. It would operate from Monday to Friday, from 6am to 7pm.
The proposal seeks to use only part of the site for a childcare centre with the remainder of the site approved for short-term accommodation.
The motel will be demolished to make way for the development.
If it goes ahead, this new childcare centre would provide better amenity in the Hamilton neighbourhood for residents.
