A new community centre will be built in Kallangur providing much needed infrastructure and services for the fast growing population in and around the suburb.
The $3.74 million Kallangur Community Centre will be built at 51 Marsden Road in Kallangur, north of Brisbane in the Moreton Bay region.
The project is moving forward, with the Department of Communities recently announcing builders have been shortlisted for the project.
The new centre will have a particular focus on services for families and children, providing services such as playgroups and parenting programs.
