The Paddo Tavern could be set for a major redevelopment if an application is approved.
Plans for the landmark pub at 186 Given Terrace in Brisbane’s Paddington involve a modernisation, with the tavern to be see a nearly 50% increase in gross floor area to 5,112sq m.
The pub would be extended to four storeys, with three new function rooms and an extra bar and lounge area on the upper level. The Paddo Tavern would also have a new façade and lift to improve accessibility, among other changes.
As well as functional upgrades, the redevelopment would enhance the pub’s visual appeal.
