A proposal for a new netball clubhouse for a suburb north of Brisbane is awaiting development approval.
The project, at the Les Hughes Sporting Complex at 119 Francis Road in Bray Park, would see a new clubhouse built to replace an existing one.
The proposed development includes change rooms, amenities, a store, timekeeper, office and club rooms, a canteen, a BBQ area, tiered seating and a covered deck. An extension to the existing carpark is also proposed, which would include a total of 74 new car spaces, 4 x PWD spaces and an ambulance bay.
It would service the Pine Rivers Netball Association, servicing existing courts, providing sporting and recreational infrastructure to support the growing residential population in the City of Moreton Bay.
