A proposal has been lodged for an expansion of Mayfair Village in Manly West, in Brisbane’s east.
The development application for the property at 11-31 Burnett Street in Manly West involves extensions to the current shopping centre development located on site, facilitating additional retail tenancies through infill development at ground level, and a second storey addition to part of the building, according to planners.
A new lift and stairway are part of the blueprints, along with enhanced landscaping. There will be no change to parking.
In total, an additional 475sq m of gross floor area is proposed, with potential uses including a Food and drink outlet, Health care service, Indoor sport and recreation, Office, Shop and Veterinary service.
If the development is approved and goes ahead, it will provide better amenity for residents in the area.
