A development application has been lodged to transform an existing two-storey commercial building in Auchenflower, in Brisbane’s inner west, into a neighbourhood lifestyle hub with a food and drink outlet, office and a shop.
The development at 28 Grimes Street would be operated by Fifth Avenue Lifestyle, which offers boutique studio rental opportunities across Brisbane for hairdressers, barbers, beauty specialists and entrepreneurs offering allied health, creative or professional services. It has several other developments across the city.
According to the developed application, the proposed project would rejuvenate and extend the Auchenflower building, enhancing its street appeal and providing a modern highly functional working space as an alternative to a traditional workplace.
The ground floor of the project would have a food and drink outlet (a café), and an office/shop space, while the first floor would also have an office/shop tenancy. The development will also have 10 car parks, and would operate from 6am to 10pm.
