A proposal has been put forward for a single-storey expansion of the Tingalpa Hotel at 1563 Wynnum Road and 31 and 33 Palgrave Street.
A development application lodged for the hotel to expand its footprint over a single storey that will include a new outdoor beer garden, outdoor entertainment area for families, function rooms and amenities.
There will also be internal refurbishments, including a new building entry point with entry arbour, and 53 car spaces.
The 153-year-old pub has transitioned from a watering hole to a family venue over the years, and this plan will cement that changes, attracting more families with better amenities.
If the proposal gets the go ahead the redeveloped Tingalpa Hotel would be open from 10am to 10pm daily.
