A two-storey childcare centre is proposed to be built in place of an old brick building that was home to charity Braille House in Annerley before it subdivided its property and sold part of it.
The centre, to be located on a 1,438sq m site at 507 Ipswich Road, would cater to 108 children, with seven activity rooms and internal space totalling 672sq m. The outdoor play area would be 756sq m.
The proposed development would have 22 car parks.
It approval for the project is achieved it would help to meet growing demand for childcare centres within the area.
