Brisbane Buyers Agent Home Buyer Insights – What’s happening in Kenmore – New large daycare centre proposed for Moggill Road

A three-storey childcare centre could be built on a busy road at Kenmore if the development is approved.

To be situated on a circa 4000sq m site at 1067, 1075 and 1079 Moggill Road, the childcare centre would cater for 125 children.

With 880sq m of gross floor area it would include a large outdoor play area an an open car park with 30 parks. The centre would operate from 6am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

A childcare development on the site was approved, but approval is now being sought for amended plans.

If it goes ahead the childcare centre would be transformed into one of the Western suburbs most prominent childcare centres, according to the developer, and cater to the needs of the surrounding community.

According to the development application, the centre would be strategically located within close proximity to a community focal point including Kenmore neighbourhood, Kenmore South State School, Our Lady of the Rosary School, Chapel Hill State School, and associated community facilities.
