A service station is proposed for a main road at Acacia Ridge, in Brisbane’s south.
If it gets council approval the development would be built on a vacant site at 1197 and 1199 Beaudesert Road.
As well as the shop and bowsers, the service station would have 15 shared car parking spaces.
Despite being opposite an existing service station, the planners behind the project – Murray and Associates – say the development fits into the Archerfield Neighbourhood Plan Code because it provides a supporting use for the industrial area.
It will also provide greater amenity for a growing population in the area.
