A childcare centre is proposed for Park Ridge in Logan, south of Brisbane, with places for 140 children to cater for growth in the developing area.
If given the go ahead, the development, at 142 Park Ridge Road, would be a single-storey childcare centre operating from Monday to Friday, from 6am to 6pm.
The centre would have three outdoor play areas, including undercover areas, seven activity rooms and 32 car parking spaces and would cover around 1,700sq m of the 5,000sq m site.
It is designed to integrate with the adjoining Carver’s Reach residential development, with the outdoor play areas oriented towards adjoining parkland to reduce noise impacts on the future residential area.
