Brisbane Buyers Agent Insights – What’s happening in Kallangur – Proposed childcare centre as part of new shopping development

A large childcare centre is set to open at Kallangur in July this year, is development approval is received.

The centre, to be run by Lead Childcare, will be part of the Murrumba Village development, being built on the site of the old Tulip Town Shopping Centre at 1613 Anzac Avenue.

The 1,415sq m centre will cater for 206 children, and will include 10 activity rooms, three outdoor play areas with an additional outdoor playing court, internal undercover piazza and play area, art studio and swimming pool.

The $45 million Murrumba Village, on the corner of Anzac Avenue, Cecily Street and Brays Road in Kallangur will include five restaurants, a barber, nail salon, laundromat, Liquorland bottle shop, Australia Post parcel pick-up centre, medical centre, a service station and a Princes Fresh and Save supermarket. It is scheduled to open in October 2021.
