A four-storey childcare centre is proposed for 395 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley.

The development application is seeking council approval for a centre with 623sq m of gross floor area suitable for 110 children, and featuring three open play areas, six activity rooms, covered outside space and 16 car parks.

It would be built on what is currently a car park on the 1,695sq m Fortitude Valley site.

If it goes ahead this development will benefit workers in the area, as well as those living in Fortitude Valley, which has become increasingly dense in recent years.
