A development application has been lodged for a new retail village at the entrance to Nobby Beach in Mermaid Beach.
Located on the Gold Coast Highway and Lavarack Road, the development will include several buildings designed to change the face of retail in the area.
The project will have 7,872sq m of gross floor area on the 2,406sq m development site, with space dedicated to health services, food and beverage offerings, restaurants, office and retail including a supermarket. It will include four basement level of parking with 219 car parking spaces.
If approved, this development will provided a much-needed facelift for Nobby Beach and will attract even more people to the in-demand suburb.
