Brisbane Buyers Agent Insights – What’s happening in Wynnum – Retail development to beautify busy main drag and benefit residents

As a top Brisbane buyers agent, we’ve always got our finger on the pulse of the Brisbane property market. Check out what’s happening in Wynnum.

A old service station in Wynnum will be converted into a retail precinct with a drive-through café, to be potentially called ‘Servo’.

The 2,0008sq m site, on the corner of Glenora Street and Wynnum Road, is currently occupied by a horse truck that has been converted into a drive-through café called The Coffee Bus by the developer, who also owns Carport Café in Cannon Hill.

Within the next 12 months it will have four new retail tenancies including a drive-through café, making it what the developer describes as “one of the most beautiful places” on the busy Wynnum Road, after the proposed development was approved by Brisbane City Council.

The development proposal includes 486sqm of gross floor area, with less than 30% site cover, with the existing fuel canopy to remain. It will have 24 car parking spaces.

Greater retail amenity will benefit residents in Wynnum and potentially be a drawcard for future residents, particularly if it beautifies the busy main drag.
