A new shopping centre is being built in Moggill, in Brisbane’s western suburbs, to service the growing population.
The development at 3366 Moggill Road, to be called Coles Moggill Village, is the first new shopping centre to be constructed in the area in 47 years.
It will include a larger than normal 3500sq m Coles supermarket, 18 specialty shops (including a fruit shop, delicatessen, restaurant, pharmacy, newsagency, post office and café) and a first floor office component. It will also have more than 300 car parks.
Construction on the 6100sq m development, opposite Moggill State School, is expected to be completed by mid 2021.
The development will provide much-needed amenity in an area that is experiencing significant population growth. It will be beneficial for existing residents and will make the area more appealing for those that are considering a move.
